Cristina Mălăncioiu is currently teaching violin and chamber music at the Faculty of Music and Theatre within the West University of Timișoara. 

She graduated The West University of Timisoara, Faculty of Music (2003), MA in violin performance (2005), with prof. Grațiela Negruțiu, PhD; in 2013 she completed her PhD in violin performance under the direction of prof. Gabriel Banciu, PhD, within ”Gheorghe Dima” Academy, Cluj- Napoca. Since 2013 she has been a member of the Atem Ensemble.
